i-Guides: The Launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of the i-Guides!

Your friendly learning support team (i.e Verity and my good self) understand that students are busy people who sometimes want information to be provided quickly, clearly and where possible, with pictures (or is that just me?). This is why we have developed the i-Guides. The i-Guides feature a series of electronic study skills and academic guidance booklets aimed at humanities and social science students. Topics include reading skills, building academic confidence, note-taking, myth-busting and more. The aim of the i-Guides is to provide you with 'Byte-sized pockets on information' (Did you see what we did there?).

We are constantly developing the i-Guides and more will be added shortly - I'll keep you updated via this blog or keep an eye on the i-Guide site:
http://i-guides.posterous.com/

There has been some great feedback already with the i-Guides being a model of best practice on the LLiDA's (Learning Literacies in a Digital Age) wiki, which you can view here.

We would really like to hear what people think about this so feel free to post comments either here or on the i-Guides site.
